Workshop Photo-reportage: Storytelling with portraits with Iago Corazza
From the aesthetics of the subject to the aesthetics of the contents.
A workshop dedicated to the study, understanding and realization of the portrait in reportage, a creative and emotional process that looks at the contents before the aesthetics.
This interesting workshop, one of a kind, provides a complete path in the field of reportage portrait, from identifying the subject to its analysis and understanding, up to obtaining an image that can tell its story and its special beauty.
- 7 days – to visit and get to know the area
- 100 situations – to identify and photograph the most interesting subjects
- 6 lessons – to critically observe and manage photographs
- 24 hours a day – complete supervision by technicians and instructors
Program and contents of the workshop
Portrait photography is a very engaging genre of photography because it creates a relationship between the photographer and the subject, a relationship that shapes the final result.
The beauty and appearance of the subjects, their relationship with the environment, their cultural background, and their involuntary silence are all valuable pieces of information that a good photojournalist cannot ignore.
Thanks to this workshop, you will not only learn the techniques to get spectacular portraits in photojournalism or travel, but you will also understand how to create images that reflect the qualities, characteristics, and content of the subject, somehow revealing its personality and unique features.
You will photograph unique people and anthropological elements in special places where the workshop takes place. A professional model will accompany you throughout the workshop to allow you to add a human element to photographs of beautiful interiors and stunning environments.
In this workshop, you will learn how to use your camera to capture the basic clues that make up the essence and substance of the subject.
